With a menu offering more than 80 wines, 100 craft beers and 170 bourbons and whiskies, Parallel Wine Bistro, located in the heart of Broadlands, is the perfect setting for date night, girls’ night out or a bridal shower brunch.

Parallel Bistro’s rustic charm will make you feel immediately at home with its reclaimed wood bar tops, mason jar light fixtures and whiskey bottle vases filled with fresh flowers. The patio has ample space for intimate or family dining.

Parallel Bistro’s menu features bacon lollipops, chicken and waffle minis, lobster mac and cheese and several health conscience entrees like Portobello mushrooms caps and locally-sourced salads.

Megan’s Picks:

MAGNOLIAS AT THE MILL

MAGNOLIAS AT THE MILL
198 North 21st Street, Purcellville

Magnolias at the Mill is a lovely dining spot in Western Loudoun offering a touch of history. The building was once a stagecoach stop on the Washington to Capon Spring stage run. Later the mill was home to Contee Adams Seed which provided local farmers with seed for corn, wheat, other grains and orchard grass. Magnolia’s at the Mill was renovated in the early 2000’s to serve as a sister restaurant to Tuscarora Mill in Leesburg.

Magnolia’s offers a quaint patio dining experience for those out visiting wine country, families looking for a relaxed atmosphere for a weekend lunch or couples dining with their pup in tow. If you bring in a bottle of Virginia wine purchased earlier that day, Magnolia’s will waive your corkage fee in a nod of support to area wineries.

Megan’s Picks:
Lunch – Tomato Smoked Gouda Soup and Harvest Chop Grilled Salmon Salad.

Dinner – Seared Virginia Scallops with Sweet Potato Gratin, Pancetta, Tuscan Kale, Roasted Mushrooms and Virginia Maple Bordelaise.

Follow Magnolia’s on Facebook to stay apprised of their specials, craft beer nights, themed dinners and changing menu items.
