Into the Woods

Experience the changes of spring and get up and moving on this wooded trail at Frying Pan Farm Park. Begin your adventure at the Indoor Arena, where you pick up a map and instructions. Volunteers will guide visitors to the nature trails, where you will follow the signs to activity stations, which are peppered throughout the trail. Build a fairy house, help tally migratory and resident birds, and participate in searching for signs of spring. End your journey at the Meeting House, where you will receive a Japanese tea sample. This is a free program, open to all ages, and is being offered in conjunction with the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Registration is required. The annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place this year in a modified format. Participants can hop along the bunny trail to the hunt area. Each child will hunt for empty Easter eggs and receive a treat bag at the conclusion of the hunt. The Easter Bunny will also be on-site for socially distanced pictures. Participants will be entered in a drawing for grand prize baskets. All participants may enter the hunt area at their scheduled time.
