What a year! 2016 has been one to remember. From the presidential election to my own personal transformations, I’ve had a year for the books. I’m grateful for so many things: some small, and some not so small.
My kids got a little older and a little wiser. Posh Seven welcomed two new team members, Colleen McHale and Aileen Miller. With their arrival, the office got a new level of excitement and laughter I can only describe if you were here with us. We expanded our footprint a little deeper into Route 7 and started mailing out copies of our gorgeous magazine. We celebrated another fantastic Best of Suburbia Survey for Health and Wellness by hosting an epic cocktail party at Mokomandy in Sterling with our sponsors, Morgan Stanley’s the Geiger Group.
In 2016, we filled our pages with meaningful stories, met some amazing women, found fitness, lost fitness, learned to breathe (and even to let go), and cheered a thing or two about pantsuits. 2016, I will look at you with love, but I’m kind of happy to be done with you.
Readers, my hope for you in 2017 is joy, laughter, stability, and good health. May you learn the lessons you need to learn through happy experiences and not through hurt or loss. I hope you dream big, act gently, speak softly, and work hard. I hope you’re hugged daily and told that you are loved. I wish you all the joy and happiness you can ever have.
Most of all, I hope you’ll continue to share your stories with us. I’m grateful to have a platform to share your stories, champion your news, and support your businesses. I wish you all a Happy New Year and wonderful holiday season. May the coming days be filled with gratitude and love.
