From our Founder:

Dear Posh Seven Readers,

On this page that is reserved for me, I try to write an amazingly witty and intelligent letter about the content in each of the magazines I publish, and every issue, I fail to do everything but share my current mood with you. I guess that is not the best thing since I don’t really find myself that interesting. What is interesting though is getting your feedback after we publish an issue. With that said, I love hearing from you. Reading your letters, notes and Facebook messages makes me feel excellent even if at times the notes may be critical of my work. I take all feedback, good and bad. So, keep them coming.

With that said, I want to remind everyone summer is here. What it means for each of you is very different, so I will share what it means to me.

The end of this summer, my son will be gone away at college. He accepted Penn State, and now we have a Nittany Lion in the family. Very exciting.

My husband and I are celebrating our 20-year marriage by renewing our vows with our closest friends and family in July.

In June my son will turn 18! An adult(ish).

We will likely add another four-legged family member.

We will take a family vacation somewhere we haven’t been to before.

I will spend every afternoon at the booger pool in my neighborhood.

I will eat sugary fruits and drink more rose than I care to admit.

We will be on the lawn at Wolf Trap taking in concerts and enjoying a picnic at least every other week.

The mom carpool express will be hard at work since I signed my daughter up for summer camps in D.C. What was I thinking?

My list is long, and I don’t want to bore you, but I do want to bring you back to what I wish to talk about, and that is your feedback. What is your summer going to look like? What will you do? Please share your stories and lives with us. Just hashtag #poshseven if you want me to see anything on social media. Or directly email me.
