Posh Seven Magazine: The Winter Issue 2020

Dear Posh Seven Readers,
Welcome to Posh Seven’s first issue of 2020! I hope this issue will enlighten, entertain, and inform you about what is fresh and new in Loudoun County and surrounding areas. Many of us are coming out of “dry January,” and some of us are on trend with “plant-based diets” while others are just trying to get a shower in before the kids take over. I did not jump on the dry train, but I did re-embrace a vegetarian diet after watching The Game Changers on Netflix. If you have not watched it yet, please do. It is very compelling to make a change if you are a current meat eater. I used to be a vegetarian for years until I became pregnant with my son. Going back to my old ways, happily, I feel a little younger— a little more energetic. If you are curious, try it. Let me know how it goes.

In this issue, we researched and came up with our TOP SPA list for 2020. Can you imagine spending the day in a gorgeous spa, sitting in a plush robe, sipping on Champagne? You can do that after you read our list. Meet some amazing people we have featured in this issue, and make sure you hit up some of the local businesses that are on our pages. Don’t miss Nia’s fashion editorial on what to wear to tournaments. My daughter plays volleyball and I spend almost every weekend courtside and never know what to wear. She makes some good suggestions. Also, Colleen is on it with Netflix. See her suggestions for snow days where you can spend guiltless days of binge-watching fun shows. Travel to Florida with Melissa and Georgia with Emily and see what Posh Momcation can be next for you. This issue I want to introduce you to Tracey, our new contributor. She did some amazing research on grocery delivery options in the area. I love her for that. I am an Instacart junky, I admit it. There is so much more to read, I hope you enjoy this issue.

We are a free publication for you, our readers. Our advertisers are key supporters in making each issue possible. So please visit their businesses, tell them that you saw their ad here, and celebrate local business with us. A robust local economy is good for all of us. It is good for our country.

So the Roaring 20’s are back, let’s make this decade better than the last one. Keep loving one and other.
