Spring Fashion for Any Occasion in Loudoun

Springtime has a funny way of sneaking up on us, even though we have been waiting all winter for it. If you’re anything like me, you can’t wait to bust out your pastels and put on the brightest lipstick you can find. Kidding! If you are anything like me, you might not have shaved your legs all winter, and you are just excited to be able to wear less than four layers any time you leave the house!

Springtime also means new fashion trends, and I am always thrilled to stop by some local fashion hot spots such as Scout & Molly’s in One Loudoun and Studio Twenty8 Fifty7 in Leesburg. Shopping small and local is not just a great opportunity to support the local economy; it’s also a great option to spruce up your closet too. Each boutique has amazing stylists that will help you create lasting looks that will not only be custom fit for you but also trendy to help you look current. Each boutique carries unique brands and will make you stand out anywhere — from the soccer field to happy hour.

First up! Scout & Molly’s of One Loudoun. Be sure to check out their second location at the Mosaic District in Fairfax, as well. My stylist Devon helped me choose my outfit for a great versatile, casual look. There were certainly some Spanx involved but maybe not in the way you would imagine. I used to think that Spanx were only to be worn under your clothes. I was wrong. The Spanx leggings they carry in their stores are gorgeous, and they actually feel great. I found some unique pieces at Scout & Molly’s that I think people would be surprised to see there. Owner, Teresa Snedeker stocked her boutiques with amazing styles with good options for everyone. You can go there for high-end pieces as well as moderately priced everyday wear. Check out the outfits we chose for everything from dropping your kids off at school to a romantic date night.

Next, I want you to be sure to visit Studio Twenty8 Fifty7 in Leesburg. This boutique surprised me in the best way. It is in a beautiful new part of Leesburg, nestled right next to a coffee shop. From the moment you walk into the cozy boutique, you lose yourself in the great merchandise variety. I know I was supposed to be there shopping for myself, but the baby shoes I saw when I walked in were to die for. They also have a range of unisex fragrances and jewelry for any special event. The vibe I get at Studio Twenty8 Fifty7 is fun and funky. Mary, my stylist, knew I was coming and had already picked some pieces out for me. I don’t know how she did it, but I loved each outfit. I can hardly do that for myself. Here are the beautiful outfits.
