FROM THE FOUNDER
Dear Posh Seven Readers,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being a devoted reader and being with us since our inception in October 2007. We have accomplished so much over the years and highlighted some fantastic community businesses and members, and this issue is no different. I always see Posh Seven Magazine the way I see myself, a work in progress. We get better over the years, and we learn to love ourselves with flaws and all. Speaking of love, one beloved team member, Aileen Miller, has left our company to continue her career as a teacher in the Loudoun County school system. We wish her luck and will miss her much. While we are sad to lose Aileen, we are happy that she will be a part of our excellent education system in our county. We are lucky to have her. We are also celebrating. Our beloved team member Kat Hoke had her baby. We congratulate the Hoke Family and also welcome Kat as our Social Media Community Manager in addition to her Account Executive position she currently holds. This woman can juggle, and she makes it all look easy. Also, welcome Traci Medlock as our lead Photographer and Videographer. She has been involved with Posh Seven for years and we can’t say enough about her work. We love our team! They make each beautiful issue you are holding in your hands possible. They make us possible.
Time flies. I remember the first letter I wrote to you 13 years ago! I was holding a baby in my arms. She is now taller than me. My kindergartener is now in college, and I still stubbornly insist on remaining my immature goofy self. Why not? I am learning to chill a little more and helicopter mother a little less. It is hard. Our lives are hard. Yes, they are great, but they are hard. I hope this issue finds you all in good health and good spirits. Enjoy the beautiful stories inside and feel free to talk to me. I am on Instagram @hausofhu, and you can always email me.
I love all of you and hope you are all off to a high season!
