Cherylyn Harley LeBon is a partner at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig. Cherylyn’s practice areas cover corporate, government contracting, and nonprofit organizations. Her clients benefit from her 20+ years of experience in Washington, D.C., and abroad, including time as a high-ranking official at the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Department of Veterans Affairs, and as Senior Counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. She helps small and mid-sized companies structure joint venture, teaming, and mentor-protégé agreements, and navigate the small business federal procurement programs in many federal agencies.

Tammy received a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University, a J.D. in Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and an M.L.T. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.

Claire M. S. Meade is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and has over 20 years of industry experience. She also holds the titles of Family Wealth Advisor, Financial Planning Specialist, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Vice President.
Claire’s clients are busy people – they don’t have the time, resources, or perhaps just the interest in managing their own assets – she worries about their retirement so that they can focus on what’s happening in their life now.
Claire grew up in Northern Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia, earning a degree in Rhetoric & Communications Studies as well as a Master’s of Education. After positions as a television news reporter and in marketing, she returned to working for her family’s staffing service, managing one of their offices. She found her true calling, in financial services, when her family’s financial advisor suggested the she come work with him at Solomon Smith Barney after her parents sold their business. She went on to build her own practice, drawing on her small business experience to help business owners as well as a wide-array of clients including corporate executives, professionals, and families working hard to build wealth for college expenses and retirement through financial planning based investment management. She has recently affiliated with The Alexandria Group at Morgan Stanley—a practice of nine financial advisors managing a total of over $1.7B in assets.
In addition, Claire serves on the board of the non-profit Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative and enjoys volunteering for youth sports and other community activities. She is married to her college sweetheart, John, and lives with their two sons in Oak Hill, VA.

With over 25 years of planning experience, Katie helps her clients identify financial blind spots and educates them on the most appropriate strategies and solutions to consider for protecting and preserving their wealth. Her specialty areas include estate tax and trust planning, life insurance and long term care planning, and business buy-sell and key person planning.
Before joining BKA in 2011, Katie was a Divisional Manager at Morgan Stanley with their high-net-worth Wealth Advisory Solutions and Family Office Resources group. She has held both Financial Advisor and regional planning specialist roles with the top financial firms in the industry such as Smith Barney, UBS and Legg Mason, starting her career with Merrill Lynch, in 1995. Katie earned her CFP® designation in 2003 and holds Series 7, 63, 65, Life and Health licenses and is also Long Term Care certified.
Katie was born in Washington, DC and lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband Kevin and son Ryan. She is a huge Washington Nationals fan, active in youth sports and a vocalist for community events during the holidays, sharing her passion for singing with children and senior citizens. She also enjoys skiing in Colorado and spending time at the Delaware beaches.

Maria Trent, MD, MPH, FAAP, FSAHM
Dr. Trent is a Professor of Pediatrics, American Health, and Nursing at Johns Hopkins University and Chief of the Division of Adolescent/ Young Adult Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is an independent research scientist and serves as the principal or key investigator on multiple research projects and training grants funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other funding agencies. A significant focus of Dr. Trent’s research and clinical interest has been on reducing sexual and reproductive health disparities in young women. Dr. Trent is the immediate past President of the Society for Adolescent Health served two terms as Chair of the Executive Committee for the Section on Adolescent Health within the American Academy of Pediatrics, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Health Association. She is a sought-after speaker and the author of scientific research articles, editorials, book chapters, and patient-directed media in child, adolescent, and young adult health. Professional organizations and the lay press have recognized Dr. Trent for her work, and she has emerged as an important voice and forceful advocate for the health and well-being of young people and those who care for them.
